Responsibilities

  • Offer strategic guidance to the Executive team on regulatory and other legal matters.

  • Deliver comprehensive legal guidance throughout the product life cycle, from concept through to launch and operation, aiding in both the creation and, when necessary, the dismantling of products.

  • Furnish daily legal, business, and strategic advice to internal crypto-focused teams, addressing challenges and offering solutions for the development and implementation of innovative product roadmaps.

  • Extend practical commercial support to Sales, Partnerships and Marketing teams, handling complex agreements and reviewing marketing materials, while managing legal risks to strengthen partnerships and advance opportunities.

  • Give actionable advice to our People team related to hiring and maintaining human capital, including equity-based compensation.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of post-law school graduation experience, including at least 2 years in technology-related law firm practice at a top tier law firm.

  • Possessing strong legal judgment; applying analytical rigor, prudent risk assessment, and a mix of creativity and pragmatism.

  • Comfortable with risk-adjusted thinking and able to discern when flexibility in interpretation is warranted.

  • Excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Stellar project management, negotiation, drafting, and time management skills

  • Team player and collaborator who thrives while working to tight deadlines

  • Deep curiosity and problem solving skills
