Job description

We are seeking a General Counsel to oversee all legal matters for the firm, including regulatory compliance, litigation, and the negotiation of critical contracts.

Responsibilities:

Lead all legal functions and provide strategic legal guidance to the executive team.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including software licensing, partnership, vendor, and procurement contracts.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Manage disputes and litigation, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
Oversee intellectual property strategy, including patent and trademark filings and enforcement.
Advise on risk management and compliance, ensuring the organization mitigates legal exposure.
Monitor changes in legislation that may affect the organization and advise accordingly.
Provide training and support to staff on legal issues and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide practical legal advice that aligns with business goals.
Represent the company in negotiations and discussions with regulatory bodies, partners, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Requirements:

10+ years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate law, software contracts, and regulatory compliance.
Active membership in a relevant Bar association.
Proven track record in negotiating complex agreements and managing legal risks.
Strong understanding of intellectual property law, especially in the software sector.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing and mentoring legal teams is a plus.
