Our team employs a broad range of investment strategies that span macro, credit, and quantitative investing, including multi-asset, benchmark-agnostic, constrained, indexed, and thematic strategies.

 

What impact can you make in this role?
The Business Management team plays a vital role in providing business and project management service to Fixed Income & Multi Asset (FIMA) globally.  This includes the implementation of new strategic initiatives and products, driving cross-team collaboration across the organization to enable the department’s portfolio managers and investment analysts to properly execute and monitor their investments and portfolio companies in a timely and efficient manner, while ensuring appropriate protection of operational risks.

 

What will you do as an Associate/ AVP in the Business Management team?
•    Manage FIMA business and change initiatives from initiation to post-implementation review, partnering with stakeholders within FIMA and across corporate support functions. 
•    Proactively review and implement process improvements to drive efficiency gains, speed to market and operational risk mitigation. 
•    Work with corporate functional support teams (including operations, risk, technology, tax, trading, audit, legal and compliance) to embed external regulatory and internal policy guidelines, drive governance controls, streamline workflows & system deployments.
•    Resolve systemic front office issues and potential roadblocks arising from execution, operational, risk and compliance considerations.
•    Review and evaluate root causes to systematically address issues relating to existing business workflows as well as various third-party and in-house platforms.
•    Partner with other COO functions within FIMA to ensure smooth continuity of business and operations.

 

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
•    Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in financial services.
•    Experience in project management, operations and/or finance is preferred.
•    Knowledge of and interest in global markets particularly fixed income.
•    Strong team player with good interpersonal, communications and problem solving skills.
•    Ability to drive, coordinate and manage projects among multiple stakeholders.
•    Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and is resilient.
