We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer specializing in API Integrations to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Backend Engineer specializing in API Integrations, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between different software applications. Your expertise in API integration will be crucial in ensuring efficient and reliable connections between internal and external systems, enabling the organization to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

Role and responsibilities, and how will the role impact?

• API Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain APIs that enable smooth integration between various applications and services.
  

• Integration Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design integration solutions that align with organizational goals. Architect and implement scalable integration solutions, considering factors such as performance, security, and maintainability.
  

• Data Mapping and Transformation: Work with data from diverse sources and formats, ensuring proper mapping and transformation for effective data exchange between systems. 
  

• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in API integrations, optimizing code and infrastructure to ensure efficient data flow.
  

• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures such as authentication, authorization, and encryption to safeguard data during transit and at rest.
  

• Monitoring and Availability: Develop and implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of integrations. Ensure that all integrations have a high level of availability.
