Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ticketing and support with high accuracy
  • Interpret and enforce various client travel policies when making reservations
  • Support business travelers across a wide variety of client accounts
  • Familiarity and understanding of the transactional fulfillment process from all perspectives; including GDS, mid-office and back-office systems, airlines, and suppliers
  • Working knowledge of industry and agency accounting

Requirements

  • Ability to be available for 4 weeks of training to be done during regular business hours
  • Interest in weekday shifts (7AM-7PM MTN M-F) or After Hours Shifts (2PM-12AM MTN M-F, 7A-7PM S&S)
  • 3-5 years of multi-GDS experience
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with booking complex travel itineraries including:
    • Split tickets
    • Multiple segments
    • Exchanges (including partial exchanges)
    • Complex international routes
    • Manual pricing/ticketing when necessary
  • Customer-centric phone skills, active listening, and issue resolution
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously
  • Excellent customer service skills, including guiding customers through difficult scenarios in a consultative manner
  • Strong technical proficiency
  • Works well under pressure and with time constraints, maintaining composure and high resilience

Standard Shift Hours:

Day shift advisors can be scheduled from 7AM-7PM MTN Monday-Friday, with weeknight and weekend shifts available. Schedules are not assigned until after training and no shifts will be guaranteed.

Salary Range: $23-30 per hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range and is determined by several factors that may include but are not limited to interdepartmental equity, candidate experience, skills, education and training, location, licenses, and certifications or needs of the organization. Full time roles will also qualify for our total benefits package offered by Christopherson Business Travel.
