Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager who is highly proficient in utilizing Tableau for reporting and visualization. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business and development teams, translating business needs into technical requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of data products. This individual will be instrumental in driving the development and execution of our data strategy, ensuring that our data products meet business needs and deliver tangible value.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting and Visualization Expertise:

• Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on Tableau, leveraging it to create insightful, user-friendly reports and dashboards.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data visualizations and reports, optimizing them for performance and user experience.
• Continuously explore new capabilities within Tableau to enhance reporting and visualization offerings.

• Act as a key intermediary between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and expectations.
• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and data requirements, ensuring that development efforts align with business objectives.
• Work closely with both teams to prioritize product features and development tasks, facilitating agile development processes and ensuring timely delivery of data products.

• Lead the planning, development, and launch of innovative data products, overseeing the product lifecycle from concept through deployment.
• Define and measure key product metrics to track success and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and feedback on data products, making sure they meet diverse user needs.

• Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's data strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage data for business advantage.
• Advocate for a data-informed culture, promoting data literacy and best practices across the organization.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data technology, reporting, and visualization tools, ensuring our data capabilities remain competitive.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Product Manager or similar role, with hands-on expertise in Tableau for reporting and visualization.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, with experience in agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
