Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Product Manager or Group Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the growth and evolution of our new data consortium-based product. We value diversity and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Product Growth:
    • Lead the growth and development of our data consortium-based product, ensuring it meets the needs of our diverse customer base.
  • Consortium Development:
    • Drive the development and nurturing of a data-sharing consortium, fostering collaboration among various stakeholders.
  • Data Sharing and Security:
    • Develop and enforce requirements for secure data sharing of sensitive, high-value data, staying up-to-date with data-related regulations.
  • Product Roadmap:
    • Own and manage the product roadmap and opportunity backlogs, utilizing prioritization frameworks such as RICE.
    • Consider the needs and feedback of engineering, customer success, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain Market Requirement Documents (MRDs), Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), release notes, and other product documentation, focusing on user needs and benefits.
  • Task Management:
    • Ensure Jira Epics, Tasks, and acceptance criteria are reviewed and understood by the team lead.
  • Product Marketing Support:
    • Assist the Product Marketing team in product launches and the development of marketing content.
  • Product Analytics:
    • Use product analytics tools, such as Amplitude, to guide product decisions and measure success.
  • Customer and Market Research:
    • Conduct customer interviews and participate in competitive landscape analysis, market research, and persona development to inform product direction.
  • API and Data Development:
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of API and data-centric product development methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • 4-6 years in product management.
    • Proven track record in building data consortiums or platforms for data collaboration and sharing.
  • Data Governance:
    • Experience in establishing data governance review processes.
    • Familiar with pricing strategies and go-to-market frameworks.
  • Privacy Frameworks:
    • Knowledge of best practices for information privacy and data security.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Amplitude).
