Gray Manufacturing Company, Inc. in St. Joseph, Missouri is searching for Regional Sales Managers to join our team! This position will serve Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Effectively manage revenue channels in a geographical territory to maximize revenue and profit margins through the development of market direct sales strategies via face-to-face interactions to provide the best possible customer experience; establish a profitable distribution network where applicable and managing National Accounts within respective territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Manage and grow existing direct sales customer base and prospects through coordination of marketing tactics to include phone, direct mail, email, and coordination of contacts through inside sales team force and in-person contact.
2. Perform on-site product demonstrations, training and meetings with customers and prospects.
3. Effectively manage existing distributors and develop new distribution partners, where applicable, through sales training and assisting distributors as needed.
4. Maintain Gray product knowledge while continuing education of our key market to be able to develop customer problems and provide solutions.
5. Provide parts and service knowledge of all Gray equipment to customers.
6. Utilize CRM program to keep clear, concise, accurate account records.
7. Participate in and lead trade show events.
8. Create and maintain sales pipeline to be able to meet or exceed all sales key measure metrics.
9. May travel with various products to pick up, deliver, and perform product repairs as needed.
10. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and performing the job in a safe manner utilizing personal protective equipment and safety devices.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Five years of outside sales experience; BSBA degree preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to read, write and converse in the English language in all forms of communication; Bilingual preferred.
2. Ability to operate a computer sufficient enough to develop customer quotes, maintain CRM and interface with ERP system.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Position required to meet DOT requirements and drive pickup truck and trailer.
2. Lifting, twisting, reaching, carrying, and bending
3. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
4. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
5. Ability to safely stand for 95% as needed, i.e., trade show.
6. Frequent daytime travel is required.
7. Occasional overnight travel is required.
