The Territory Account Representative - Greater China is a hunter at heart, and often Workiva’s first contact with a prospective customer. The Territory Account Representative possesses the ability to quickly develop a rapport with influencers and decision makers at an executive level, and efficiently spark the curiosity that generates interest in our platform.

In this position, the Territory Account Representative partners closely with field sales to drive sales opportunities with both existing and potential new customers across the Greater China Region. Territory Account Representative accomplish this objective through a variety of strategies such as cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, conference calls, virtual meetings, onsite meetings and referrals

What You Will Do

  • Partners closely with field sales to develop ongoing engagement strategy with assigned customer and prospect accounts to drive revenue goals

  • Provides baseline research and intelligence within target accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information

  • Prospects into target accounts via cold calling, networking, email, e-marketing, campaigns, and social outreach

  • Qualifies leads and contacts based upon specifically defined criteria to transition meaningful sales leads into the pipeline

  • Maintains active engagement with existing customers & non-customers to increase interest in additional Workiva solutions

  • Maintains good recordkeeping and documentation in Salesforce and CRM systems Drives attendance to various events (webinar, conferences, etc.), and provide post-event follow up

  • Develops and maintains a current understanding of Workiva’s solutions and competitive product/ market knowledge Meets or exceeds quarterly monthly or quarterly goals and metrics

What You Will Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related experience in a similar role - preferably in lead generation, sales development or sales prospecting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a professional demeanor

  • Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement

  • The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously

  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity, and effectively manage competing priorities

  • Capable of learning, developing, and integrating skills in an online training environment

  • Experience with CRM tools - ideally Salesforce

  • Proven success in meeting sales goals and metrics

  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with our customers in Taiwan.


Travel Requirement & Working Conditions
 

  • Up to 10% travel for customer or team events

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely
