About the position 

The Nuvei Integration Services Sandbox Technical Owner plays a crucial role in contributing to the day-to-day operations and activities of the Integration Services department. This position requires you to develop a deep knowledge of the Nuvei integration services and environment. You must develop your expertise and knowledge in Nuvei integration API products.  

The primary role of the position is to act as owner of Nuvei’s sandbox environment – identifying and analyzing the opportunities for meaningful improvement of our sandbox products and features, and working on long-term development projects, stemming from these opportunities. The role involves collaboration with other internal teams, including Project Management, Customer Success, R&D, Product, System Analysts, and more, to deliver high-level technical solutions. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • The Integration services – Sandbox owner role involves developing a thorough understanding of all aspects of Nuvei API and integration products, including their functionality, features, and technical specifications. This knowledge allows us to identify gaps and promote the development of new processes and technical features, aimed at improving all aspects of the client onboarding experience, both for the clients and for the Nuvei agents, using the environment. 
  • The role involves ownership of complex technical challenges and issues end-to-end, and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. 
  • By assigning Sandbox Technical ownership, we aim to mitigate challenges and provide Nuvei clients with a more reliable and consistent experience throughout their development and testing phase. It will streamline testing and deployment processes, reduce the likelihood of errors and inconsistencies, and ultimately enhance the merchants' satisfaction and trust in our sandbox-supported services. 
  • Promoting fresh innovations will allow us not just to focus on maintenance, but also to promote new ideas, technologies, and practices that will make us more attractive in the market. 
  • Contribute to adopting new technology, tools, processes, and procedures to enhance our services. 
  • Work collaboratively within the team to achieve goals and objectives, providing regular feedback on performance. 
  • Contribute to delivering excellent service experiences and participating in strategic programs. 
  • Demonstrate support for the corporate mission, core values, and long-term objectives. 
  • Provide regular updates and highlight any technical issues to the team. 

 

Requirements 

  • Hands-on technical experience in the Payments/Fintech industry 
  • Proven experience in technical support or analysis in an international high-tech company. 
  • Experience in project management is an advantage. 
  • Familiarity with REST API and SDK, understanding technical architecture, APIs, and overall system design. 
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in a technical role, demonstrating the ability to solve technical issues. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to use data to support assumptions and define metrics. 
  • Collaborative thought partnered with the ability to work across multiple team boundaries. 
  • Ability to work under stress and pressure; occasional availability after working hours may be required. 
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex schemes. 
  • Professional level of English; proficiency in another language is an advantage.
