Job Summary:

Responsible for providing reports as requested by senior management and acting as a resource to Revenue Cycle staff and other SSM entities for reporting issues.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce routine reports as requested by Revenue Cycle management. Reports are produced using systems including but not limited to TRAC/ONTRAC, Compass, STAR, EPIC Workbench and Infoview, Excel and Access.
  • Complete basic analyses, reviews, and improvement projects as needed in support of Revenue Cycle realizing its goals and operating plans.
  • Support the development and distribution of Revenue Cycle dashboards and key performance metrics to relevant stakeholders throughout the System, including reporting delivered to facility leadership (denials, Discharge Not Billed, charge review, and coding Work Queues, etc.)
  • Assist with improving routine reporting processes as needed.
  • Cross trains with other Revenue Cycle Decision Support staff on all assigned routine reporting to ensure seamless report delivery as required for PTO, training or other absences.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Five years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
