Summary

Provide enterprise-wide leadership, guidance and strategy development for the talent acquisition strategy and talent attraction functions at Sanford Health. Responsible for driving all aspects of the recruiting process including developing and executing on strong recruiting, diversity and employee brand strategies. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing talent acquisition strategy and attraction team, inclusive of talent sourcing, internal staffing agency, strategy, and workforce planning.

Job Description

Collaborate with leaders to determine strategic staffing needs and use that information to inform recruiting strategy development. Develop and implement plans related to talent acquisition strategy. Develop and execute on strategies with an emphasis on proactive and strategic talent attraction and providing excellent candidate and internal customer experience, meeting diversity needs and driving our employee brand in the talent marketplace. Develop best practices, sourcing strategies, and metrics to measure success.

Responsible for talent acquisition reporting, trend analysis and reporting of metrics. Share recommendations with Human Resources Strategic Partners (HRSP) and hiring managers consistently. Manage the projected recruiting pipeline, demand, and appropriately balance workload across the team. Communicate and maintain the employee value proposition and brand that will attract and retain a high performing workforce. Research and recommend innovative new programs, events, campaigns and sources for the recruitment of both active and passive candidates. Ensure compliance with process and documentation requirements.

Build out a data-driven recruiting organization, leveraging the application tracking system (ATS) to develop metrics and analytics that provide insights, drive decision-making and measure team productivity and program release of information (ROI). Develop effective working relationships and collaborate with leaders at all levels of the organization to understand needs and provide consultation on talent acquisition strategies and challenges. Manage the recruiting budget and expenses. Support a diverse and inclusive culture and workforce, and ensure compliance with federal and country laws, regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.

Minimum seven years of progressive Human Resources (HR) experience in talent acquisition strategies. Experience in Healthcare and/or Insurance industry preferred. Expert knowledge of talent acquisition and recruiting trends. Experience in strategic workforce planning. Proven experience in the development and implementation of talent acquisition initiatives. Proven experience in project management. Proven ability to develop and manage organizational budgets. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other members of HR leadership. Proven experience in coaching and guiding senior members of the HR organization. Proven ability to guide, mentor, and develop people. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key external constituents, including vendors. Proven experience in conflict resolution. Strong analytical skills, including proven experience in financial analysis. Expert knowledge of talent acquisition policies and procedures. General knowledge of HR policies and procedures. General knowledge of talent acquisition corporate governance guidelines. General knowledge of talent acquisition compliance and reporting requirements.

Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certificate preferred.
