Acrolinx is an AI-powered Editorial Manager. The world’s largest brands, including companies like Microsoft, Apple, Citi, and Volkswagen use Acrolinx to infuse automation across their editorial process, resulting in huge efficiency as measured in time to publication and cost. In addition to efficiency benefits, companies like the ones I mentioned improve overall brand alignment across content, reduce risk associated with problematic content, and increase the business impact of everything they write. Generative AI is helping companies make MORE content, but not better content, resulting in editorial bottlenecks and backlogs, meaning that, while there is real value in the use of GenAI, companies simply can't realize that value without an automated Editorial Manager like Acrolinx.

The role is a remote work from home position, based in Germany, but with team structures globally. The candidate can be located anywhere, but must be fluent in German and English, and willing to work CET hours full time.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of Acrolinx offerings in order to recommend features and settings to help customers achieve their goals
  • Perform routine reviews of customer environments to proactively find issues and offer solutions; discuss remediation with customers during interactive working sessions
  • Troubleshoot linguistic questions and issues throughout customer’s lifecycle
  • Evaluate customer and third-party corporate style guides so that they correspond to Acrolinx features
  • Provide advice on managing corporate terminology in Acrolinx
  • Develop and lead training sessions on Acrolinx features for administrators and writers
  • Communicate linguistic and technical capabilities in a voice understandable to customers 
  • Analyze customer content manually and with Acrolinx to identify and summarize key opportunities where Acrolinx can add value
  • Demonstrate the performance of customer content based on Acrolinx reporting data
  • Advocate customer needs and requests to other Acrolinx teams

Required Skills/Experience

  • Speak and write fluently in German and English
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in linguistics or related fields
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Customer-facing training/consulting experience
  • Knowledge of standard style guides, such as AP, Chicago Manual of Style, and Microsoft Manual of Style
  • Experience using Xpath and Regular Expressions, or something similar
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Related degree
  • Cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration skills 
  • Experience working both independently and with remote teams

The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have

  • Background in corporate terminology management 
  • Experience with language technology tools (terminology databases, translation memories, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce), Customer Service software (e.g. Zendesk) or similar tools
  • Technical aptitude/experience working with SaaS platforms
