Data Specialist

ROR Partners, Inc. is a rapidly growing, client-driven direct marketing company based in Las Vegas. The Data Specialist role will be responsible for assisting the data team. Building analysis and creating ROI campaigns via Microsoft Access and Excel. Ordering data and updating ROI templates. Assisting with data hygiene and improvements. Position is remote and salary range is $45k to $55k.

Responsibilities:

• Create and provide reports both internally and externally to aid in the target marketing of print and digital campaigns.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Provide list suppression, merge/purge, and appending services for mailing and emailing campaigns.
• Analyze all internal reports to ensure data integrity and that best practices are being met
• Coordinate with departments to develop the best processes and practices to ensure that customer requirements are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Understand departmental needs with respect to workflow processes, procedures and deadlines.
• Stay current with developments in online advertising, advertising technology and online media.
• Ability to work with large data sets and manipulate.
• Working with the Engineering team and assisting with data hygiene and data mining.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in related field or 1-2 years of experience in data/analytics or computer science.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is required and experience with Microsoft Access is preferred.
• Excel Capabilities:

1. Proficient in formulas
2. Vlookup, if, then statements, sums, averages
3. Formatting functions: sort, filter, tables
4. Macros, pivot tables, use of Kutools
5. Ability to manipulate large data files

• Access Capabilities:

1. Ability to create tables
2. Ability to create and manipulate queries, create make tables, create reports
3. Understanding of relationships within access.
4. Experience with SQL and UNIX/LINUX/Command Line is preferred.

• Familiarity with client management software, such as Salesforce, Monday, and Snowflake.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from start to finish, manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to prioritize and focus on multiple tasks in high-pressure situations

• Standard work week - 40 hours; however, employees may be required to work additional time necessary to meet deadlines and complete projects.
