The Sr Analyst, Business Intelligence is responsible for enhancing the value and efficiency of our organization by transforming raw data into actionable insights. They will gather and analyze business requirements, and then design, develop, and implement new tools and dashboards to improve decision-making processes across our sales and operations teams. They will drive data-driven decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and ultimately, contribute to the organization’s growth and success.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Independently design, develop, and take ownership of business intelligence tools and dashboards, enabling proactive decision-making processes
- Transform complex data into insightful information that can improve business value
- Take responsibility for collecting and analyzing business requirements, independently creating and maintaining sustainable processes to meet those needs
- Provide recommendations to management based on data analysis, actively contributing to the decision-making process
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to business intelligence initiatives
- Train and guide staff on the effective use of data analysis and reporting tools
- Drive collaboration with sales and operations teams to proactively identify key performance indicators and develop relevant reporting systems
- Assist the Pricing Analyst with interpreting the large pricing datasets to support strategic pricing decisions
- Provide ongoing support to clients with data analysis and customized reporting
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience working in an analytical role
- Proficiency in data mining, data analysis, and data visualization tools (especially Power BI)
- A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the aptitude to work with large data sets
- Experience writing queries in SQL in a production environment
- Problem solving and investigative skills
- Ability to provide detailed and thorough analysis with consistency and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management team
- Work effectively with internal and external partners
- Comfortable with change and ambiguity
- Very high attention to detail
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Demonstrated ability to train and guide others in the use of data analysis tools

Pay Range:
$71,300.00 - $119,100.00
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
