Internal Product Specialist - Chemicals

As Internal Product Specialist - Chemicals based in Helsinki, Finland, you will provide general technical and commercial support to both external as well as internal customers by answering technical questions about products and applications within the Chemicals and other product groups, preparing and processing product-related quality complaints and quotations. 

What we’re looking for

• Educational background in chemistry is required, a MSc degree in chemistry or chemical engineering is preferred
• Commercial acumen
• Experience in advising customers on technical / chemical / laboratory products will be an advantage
• Knowledge and/or experience in tender legislation is a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office, ERP and CRM
• Fluency in Finnish and English languages

• You support customers and colleagues within chemicals and other product groups
• You create, negotiate and follow up quotations.
• You proactively help selling the dedicated product range, cross-selling other product ranges
• Train colleagues in dedicated product ranges.
• Participate in tender work, find products, and answer technical requirements.
• Follow market trends within the dedicated product range and build market intelligence.
• Participate in customer visits, exhibitions, customer events, and other marketing activities when needed.
• You cooperate closely with local, regional and European colleges within the dedicated product range
• Other duties as assigned
