Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Security Partners team identifies and implements comprehensive, risk informed security controls to enable the delivery of secure technology to our customers.As the Technical Information Security Advisor (TISA) focused on Walmart's Marketing and Advertising initiatives you will provide technical information security advice and design recommendations for key strategic initiatives.

This role will be involved early in planning and architecture and require relationship management and building with the technical teams to ensure our customers’ needs are met securely and the fast pace of our Marketing and Advertising initiatives.

What you'll do:

  • Proactively identifies technical solutions to lift the security posture of Walmart
  • Reviews and assesses the security of designs considering Walmart’s security standards aligned to industry standards such as ISO 27002 and NIST 800-53
  • Recommends updates to architectures to creatively solve problems in a secure manner while minimizing risk to Walmart and our customers.
  • Evaluating when exceptions would be applicable and following our risk management process to ensure these are monitored and documented effectively.
  • Collaborate with your customers to advise on secure designs for solutions as they are developed with a primary focus on Walmart, but which may extend to other platform areas based on need.



What you'll bring:

  • In depth experience with application development using containers and multiple programming languages.
  • Experience with fraud prevention or large application design and architecture.
  • Architecture or design experience including deployment of enterprise-scale systems.
  • CISSP, CCSP or other security certifications

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Certification in Security+, GISF, GSEC, CISA, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related area and 2 years’ experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
