Roles and Responsibilities

  •     Lead and direct technology integration security services in accordance with industry-leading practices and GuidePoint standards and methodologies
  •     Direct and oversee multiple teams of security professionals as they deliver technology integration services
  •     Provide thought leadership and alternate solutions to complex security problems
  •     Assist with methodology and offering development in support of security technology integration and optimization
  •     Critically analyze security operations for process improvement
  •     Manage client expectations for deliverables and service milestones to maintain high customer satisfaction
  •     Provide security consultation and guidance for internal customers, business units, and executives
  •     Forecast technical needs and solutions for budgeting and manage the department’s budget
  •     Personnel management of the team to include recruiting, hiring, staffing projections, and performance reviews
  •     Lead and direct rapidly growing remote teams of information security professionals
  •     Ensure the highest amounts of customer satisfaction are included by default and delivered at all times
  •     Assist with the development and management of the department budget
  •     Coordinate training programs for Security Engineers
  •     Create new technology integration offerings
  •     Provide oversight for Southwest region projects from inception to closeout
  •     Maintain and Development of Statement of Works (SOW) and deliverable documentation templates
  •     Develop and maintain relationships with security vendors.
  •     Collaborate with leaders/stakeholders throughout the organization to drive improvements and efficiencies
  •     Enable and oversee regional Project Management personnel
  •     Provide feedback and guidance on reference architectures employed by GuidePoint

Position Requirements

  •     Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology discipline (preferred) 
  •     A minimum of 5 years combined security related leadership experience within any or all of the following: commercial / private industry, government, consulting, security vendor sales / engineering
  •     Strong experience in multiple areas of Cybersecurity: Application Security, Vulnerability Management, Network Security, SIEM, MDR/XDR, Cloud Security, IAM, GRC, DFIR, etc.
  •     Leadership experience (required)
  •     Strong technical writing skills (required)
  •     Expert communications skills, including a mastery of the English language both written and spoken (required)
  •     Experience with executive briefings (required)
  •     Experience managing and delivering technology integration services (required)
  •     Experience managing complex issues, and coordinating solutions
  •     Proven track record of sound decision making, taking ownership and delivering results in a leadership role
  •     Experience working in fast paced environments, and ability manage workload even during times of stress or escalated activity
  •     10-20% client billable delivery of services
  •     Up to 60% out-of-town travel required to meet clients within the Northeast region, attend regional team QBR's, security related conferences, etc.
