About the Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Cialfo by setting meetings, supporting prospecting activities, and qualifying new leads. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a sales mentality and a passion for education technology to learn and grow within a dynamic team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Meeting Setter: Schedule meetings with potential clients to introduce Cialfo's offerings and explore partnership opportunities.
  • Support in Prospecting: Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential clients through cold calling and emailing.
  • Qualify New Leads: Evaluate new inbound leads and create opportunities for Amplify & DA (Direct Apply) initiatives.
  • Sales Goals:
    -Set a high number of meetings with prospective clients.
    -Create new sales opportunities through effective engagement.
    -Contribute to tour sales, which are less complex and somewhat transactional, providing a great way to learn about Cialfo's products and processes.

About You

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of setting meetings and creating opportunities.
  • Experience in education technology or related fields is a plus.

Skills

  • Excellent communication, prospecting, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualities

  • Sales Mentality: A proactive approach to sales engagement, focusing on repeatable and effective sales strategies.
  • Experience: While experience in the university sector is a plus, a strong background in sales, particularly in the complex U.S. market, is more critical.
