This role is responsible for driving compensation initiatives across Greystar. This role will support design, development, implementation and administration of Greystar’s compensation and pay-for performance programs.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Compensation Administration:
Foster strong partnerships with business leaders, HR and Talent Acquisition and provide compensation expertise including analytics and reports
Conduct job evaluations, determine appropriate salary ranges, and educate HR and business leaders on appropriate job classification, title, levels, salary grades and ranges
Participate in external market surveys and conducts internal and external assessments for development of base salary budgets, guidelines, and analysis to determine competitive positioning of our pay programs
Work with HR Technology team to ensure data integrity of job and compensation elements in Workday and timely updates to reflect changes to compensation programs
Compensation Program and Process Ownership:
Administer annual merit, promotion increase and annual bonus awards, including the development of guidelines, configuration and implementation of Workday Compensation planning tool, communications, and analysis of recommendations
Prepare compensation related materials for business leader and manager training
Compensation Audit – partner with HR, Payroll, and Employee Relations to provide appropriate documentation and analysis for audit purposes
Organizational Wide Compensation Projects:
Job Architecture – ensure integrity of job architecture structure through ongoing job analysis, job evaluation and market pricing
Internal pay equity – conduct periodic pay equity analyses to ensure any pay gaps are identified and addressed in a timely manner
Workday Compensation Planning – complete all testing for compensation tool, configure tool to meet compensation needs, ensure post-process review and enhancements in preparation for following cycle
BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources from an accredited college or university preferred.
3-5 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on Compensation.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Knowledge of current market trends and regulatory requirements.
Abilities to create and manage stakeholder relationships.
Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel to conduct data analysis of large data sets
High attention to detail and strong focus on data integrity
Highly effective communicator, presenter, and problem-solver
Experience with Workday, MarketPay, Dayforce a plus!
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Team members work in an office or remote work environment. No special physical demands are required.
Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000
Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
