Mobile Device Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Support mobile devices and operating system Tier III functions within a classified environment. Perform security and functional tests on secure mobile smartphones and tablets using sound testing principles and a variety of custom and third-party tools. Configure devices and operating systems for use on unclassified and classified systems, including issuance and installation of X.509 Certificates, and provisioning devices to an enterprise mobile management system. Lead the creation of test plans and test reports and independently present findings to government clients. Harden secure mobile devices for high-profile DoD senior leadership, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with mobile device system security or functional testing
• Experience with mobile device management or enterprise mobile management infrastructure
• Knowledge of Linux or Windows server infrastructure
• Knowledge of PKI concept and applications, including certificate management
• Ability to harden mobile devices against DoD guidance, including DoD STIGs
• Ability to develop diagrams accurately using Microsoft Visio to standard operating procedures
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with the latest Mobile Operating Systems STIGs released by the DoD
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) device controls and security
• Experience with commercial-off-the-shelf security technologies and trusted products
• Experience with Mobile Device Security Assessment, Assurance, Hacking Support, and Threat Intelligence
• Ability to perform Android security reviews, research and reproduce vulnerabilities, design secure protocols and systems, and write tests
• Ability to write and execute client-ready test plans and test case scenarios, and write and present client-ready test reports
• Secret clearance
• Security+ CE Certification
