You will manage a team of Lead Development specialists who are located in key geographic regions. The Lead Development team are the key link between external individual requests and the various functions within PSI, especially Commercial and Customer Care. This strategic position enables you to lead a team of specialists who will nurture relationships inside and outside the company by reaching out to known and new contacts in order to generate business opportunities and provide excellent customer service in all regions of the world. You will lead the team and have operational responsibilities for lead development activities in their region.
 

As a Global Head of Lead Development - Precision Sensors and Instrumentation, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Devising and implementing a lead development strategy that will improve lead to opportunity conversion rate and opportunity pipeline growth for the PSI brands.

  • Providing leadership and direction to the Lead Development team, enabling them to follow up effectively on leads generated by marketing campaigns to increase opportunity pipeline value.

  • Partnering with the Digital and Demand Generation Marketing Leader Director to develop an all-encompassing digital marketing strategy for the Precision Sensors and Instrumentation business.

  • Initiating, building and maintaining relationships with prospects and current PSI customers by providing information about products and services, and triaging non-commercially viable leads to appropriate stakeholders. Find appropriate solutions for leads, prospects and solutions.

  • Contacting leads to discern if the lead is commercially viable, sending commercially viable leads to the Commercial team with a proper hand-off and monitoring the progress of previously passed leads and opportunities to be sure the Commercial team carry them through the commercial process in a timely manner.

  • Qualifying opportunities and route them to the correct Direct Commercial team member or Channel Partner according to business rules, through SFDC.com and the business’ Channel Partner Marketing platform.

  • Promoting the PSI portfolio of products and services via phone, email and other channels (ie: WeChat, LinkedIn, etc) and initiating conversations with industry key decision makers to generate interest and detect demand on the PSI products and services.

  • Researching and penetrating new markets, and building new partnerships, contacting, and qualifying outbound leads through outbound calling, social selling etc.

  • Participating in team calls to report on metrics and insights from lead development activities.

  • Building FAQ documentation to better support the Lead Development and Lead Nurturing process and inform other PSI functions about potential improvement insights to improve PSI’s effectiveness and customer experience.

  • Conducting an average of 30 rated calls of prospecting activity on a daily basis and register all relevant information captured during customer interactions in the CRM tools.

  • Managing the training and development requirements of the Lead Development specialists.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BSc.) in Marketing, Business or another relevant subject from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge and experience.

  • Have demonstrable experience of building and leading cohesive and successful teams (Lead Development / Inside Sales advantageous) and takes a hands-on approach, leading by example to get the job done.

  • Have demonstrable experience of setting a vision with goals and a plan and subsequent successful achievement of that plan.

  • Have good experience in lead development, inside sales, customer service or sales.

  • Have Sales and service excellence mindset; customer-focused approach.

  • Have previous inbound or outbound calling experience.

  • Be fluent in English and at least one other language. Effective professional verbal and written communication – both with internal and external customers.

  • Have proficient end-user desktop skills including MS Office and Outlook.

  • Be influential, energetic and enthusiastic, with the drive, ambition and resilience to make things happen and deliver outstanding performance.

The annual pay scale for this position is between £49,266.00 - £86,216.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation.
