JOB SUMMARY

The Key Account Manager will manage and grow both the platform & aftermarket sales of adhesive dispensing products for the automotive paint and body shop markets in North America.   Responsible for Top OEM account management as well as penetrating additional targeted automotive development accounts, ensuring Nordson is established as the preferred dispensing supplier at the corporate and plant levels,

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execution of the overall automotive strategy-to-action plan for North American Automotive paint & body accounts.
  • Work closely with the global automotive team to promote the Nordson Brand to include teamwork, product development & continuous improvement.
  • Support the penetration of targeted development accounts, establishing Nordson as the preferred dispensing supplier.
  • Meet and exceed revenue and profitability budget as assigned.
  • Established preferred dispensing supplier relationships with targeted customers, integrators, robot manufacturers, and materials suppliers.   
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.  The successful candidate will have a proven ability to develop & execute sales growth plans.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business or related field is required.  MBA would be a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of successful experience in capital equipment sales or related function, experience selling capital equipment to support production is required. 
  • Experience with Electric Vehicles/Battery is a plus.
