Project Manager SAP

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the implementation and rollout of our eCommerce platform based on SAP Commerce Cloud. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and ensure successful project outcomes.

This position can be remote but is ideally based in Belgium or the Netherlands. Occasional office visits will be required.

Your main tasks are:

• Work closely with business users to understand requirements and convert it into solution & technical design.

• Prepare a digital roadmap and implementation plan for various OpCos of Covetrus.

• Decide on the end-to-end solution with SAP Commerce and other components including the integration architecture.

• Develop detailed project plan with scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

• Work with internal IT and external IT vendor to deliver the project successfully within the planned scope, budget & schedule.

• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools & techniques and effectively communicate the status to all stakeholders and gather feedback.

• Identify and operationalize continuous improvement areas

• Perform risk management to minimize project risks in a timely manner.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s in information technology or business administration.

• Minimum 3 years of experience.

• Experience with digital transformation projects involving SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris), Product Information Management (PIM) and integration platforms (SAP CPI / Boomi). 

• Delivered projects using Agile (Scrum) or Waterfall methods. Certified PMP or Prince2 practitioner.

• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies such as Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) including Java & JSP.

• Having experience in wholesale distribution, eCommerce &/or pharmaceutical domains is a plus.

• Analytical, solution-oriented & result driven personality with the ability to see the bigger picture and have a sharp eye for detail.

• Strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact with senior Leadership, as well as associates at all levels.

• Knowledge on project management tools
