Job Description: The Supply Planning Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of supply planners to ensure the efficient planning and execution of our supply chain operations. The Supply Planning Supervisor will work closely with various departments to anticipate demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of supply planners to achieve departmental goals and objectives

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan orders accordingly

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, future orders, and lead times to identify areas for improvement

  • Implement best practices in supply chain management to improve efficiency and reduce costs

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements

  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on supply chain performance and key metrics

  • Performs additional duties as directed

Qualifying Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and techniques

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Comfort dealing with large, demanding customers with complex distribution networks

  • Ability and willingness to develop relationships with customers and internal partners

  • Strategic thinking with a focus on operational execution

  • Effective in a changing, fast-paced team environment

  • Organizational and influencing skills for cross-functional alignment

  • Results-oriented with a strong work ethic, able to work independently

  • Flexibility to support multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Minimal travel required to Company and customer locations in support of strategic initiatives and team goals
