As the Lead Qualification Manager your role is to optimize marketing lead qualification and distribution processes to ensure an efficient flow of quality leads to inside/field sales. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, and establish and maintain effective marketing lead management strategies, systems, and workflows.
Reporting into the Director of Corporate Marketing Operations, you will lead and manage a small Marketing Lead Qualification team, providing guidance, training, and professional development. Your team is tasked with generating high value opportunities for sales by qualifying the interest and intent of marketing inquiries for sales readiness or nurture status with the goal of improving opportunity conversion and growing the opportunity/nurture pipelines. What you'll be doing:
- Coaching, developing, and managing a team of Marketing Lead Qualification staff focused on inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, website inquiries, webinars/events, tradeshows, and other channels.
- Creating, maintaining and training on scripts and content that evaluate leads based on predefined criteria to determine their level of interest, budget, authority, and timeline (BANT).
- Using customer relationship management (CRM) software to supervise and manage leads throughout the sales cycle. Monitoring and refining processes, metrics, and tools to improve the success of your team.
- Maturing processes and tools to track and report on lead qualification and funnel metrics against KPIs.
- Generating regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into lead performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Working closely with marketing, sales, and IT to ensure effective lead qualification and handover processes. Providing input on lead qualification criteria, scoring methodology, and routing rules.
- Continuously assess lead management processes, systems, and workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration and alignment, implement process enhancements, automation, and standard methodologies based on industry trends, emerging technologies, data analysis, and market insights, to streamline lead flow and enhance overall lead management effectiveness.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration/Operations, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in marketing, inside sales/sales, or business development. Experience working in a regulated/health sciences industry is a plus.
- Proven leadership experience in lead management, demand generation, or related role.
- Excellent organizational, process, and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM systems/ lead management tools. (e.g., Salesforce experience is desired) and marketing automation platforms (e.g. Account Engagement/Pardot, Acoustic)
- Analytical approach with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) and understanding of lead management principles and strategies is desired.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary range for this position is $112,000 - $154,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
