Head of Global Digital Content and Corporate Brand is an exciting role that requires a mix of creative and strategic thinking. The position is part of the department’s leadership team, helping set the strategy for global and regional teams located around the world.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Responsibilities will include crafting compelling corporate and employer brand messaging, supporting the development of campaigns and managing brand content across channels including social media, career sites and the corporate website.

  • Overseeing brand governance guidelines, core brand assets, tools and processes to enable consistent application of the brand across channels.

  • Overseeing the company’s corporate social media presence and corporate website content strategy globally and locally as well as the employee intranet will be core to the role.

  • Overseeing the creation of a corporate editorial strategy; capturing and disseminating stories that inspire and excite our audiences; building affinity for the company and its people, products and services through storytelling.

  • Leveraging an omni-channel strategy and leverage new and existing channels/events to gain quantifiable ‘reach’ with employees and other stakeholders to create diverse communications experiences.

  • Encouraging and empowering employees to become responsible aggregators, promoters, influencers, facilitators, connectors-to engage with the company and our story.

  • Responsible for producing annual Global Town Hall and other all-employee events. Play a role in the production of external events like an R&D Day or Investor Day. 

  • Measuring and analyzing metrics related to all content and campaigns is essential to continuously refine strategies, enhance corporate reputation and achieve business goals.

  • The candidate will have a thirst for staying apprised of market trends and technology and leverage the latest and most relevant channels to reach key audiences. 

  • They will lead the digital communications and brand team in thinking creatively and proactively, leveraging best practices to build a best-in-class organization with limited resources.    Manage department budget and oversee operational aspects of the team.

  • Serve as a collaborative partner to other communications professionals globally.

  • Lead the communications team in thinking proactively and strategically, leveraging external benchmarking and best practices to build a best-in-class Global Communications and Corporate Brand organization with the resources we have.

  • Promote and support Viatris’ commitment to high standards of corporate compliance, quality, safety and ethics, and live and model Viatris’ core values.

  • Leverage analytics to generate insight and identify areas of opportunity.

  • Provide intellectual leadership, perspective and experience to encourage creative thinking around communications issues, continuous learning for all employees and energy to continue to grow and expand the business globally.

Here are the minimum qualifications for this position:

  • A bachelor’s degree required with a focus on Communications or Marketing or related field, preferred.  Master’s degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in communications, digital communications and brand strategy including website development, social media, brand storytelling Communications.

  • Previous management experience required as this role will have direct supervisory responsibilities.

  • Pharma industry experience a plus.

  • This role has hybrid flexibility with a preference for the role to be based in New York City, Washington, DC or Pittsburgh metropolitan area.  We will consider candidates from East Coast United States location.  

  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $151,000.00 - $314,000.00 USD.
