Simple Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for Cyber Integration Center Lead to add to our team.

  • Certifications: GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), CISSP, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP 

  

The Role: 

The Cyber Integration Center Lead at STS will oversee the seamless operation of our combined enterprise NOC/SOC, responsible for cybersecurity, network, cloud, web, and application event monitoring and incident handling. Success in this position involves maintaining high uptime, swiftly responding to errors and hardware exceptions, and effectively collaborating with highly specialized IT and cybersecurity specialists. This role is critical to supporting STS's commitment to maintaining a secure and robust network infrastructure. 

  

The Cyber Integration Center Lead at STS will: 

  • Operate and monitor a combined NOC/SOC environment, ensuring the cybersecurity, network, cloud, web, and application event monitoring and incident handling.
  • Lead and manage a team of highly specialized IT and cybersecurity specialists, integrating and managing agile principles into operations.
  • Ensure uptime requirements are met, independently responding to and correcting errors and hardware exceptions.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures, including cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, penetration testing, and forensics.
  • Maintain and communicate incident records, ensuring detailed analysis and handling of incidents.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  Education and Experience:

Required:  

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years' position-related experience
  • Experience operating a combined monitoring environment of an enterprise NOC/SOC
  • Experience in cybersecurity, network, cloud, web, and application event monitoring and incident handling
  • Demonstrated ability to lead highly specialized IT and cybersecurity specialists
  • Ability to independently respond to and communicate errors and hardware exceptions
  • Strong written communication, presentation skills, diplomacy skills, and ability to follow policy and procedures
  • Team skills, coping with stress, problem-solving, and time management
  • Technical foundation skills: cybersecurity principles, cybersecurity vulnerabilities and weaknesses, incident handling and analysis skills, understanding intruder techniques, maintenance of incident records

Location: 

  • Maximum telework acceptable, but candidates are required to be located within a 50-mile radius of Washington, DC or Boyers, PA.
  • OPM's current policy allows for a maximum of 3 days of telework a week. Policy is subject to change for the life of the contract.
