LOOKING FOR FILIPINO CANDIDATES RESIDING IN THE PHILIPPINES

Position                   : Communications Administrative Assistant

Working Hours       : Hybrid schedule- split time between US/ East Coast time zone and Asian business hours to be discussed with candidate.  After-hours work as needed.   

Salary                      : $1200 - $1500

Primary Responsibilities
  • Commercial Communication Assistant
    • Liaison between US Traders and International Traders.
    • Summarize commercial activity in the Asian and European markets and communicate it with the US team.
    • Call customers to check pricing and needs.
    • Call suppliers and check product availability and pricing.
    • Provide written updates daily to the Traders and Assistant Traders.
    • Taking notes and summarizing meetings.
  • Maintain current, and build new, customer and supplier relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills- communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, suppliers or internal team members.
  • Responsible for timely follow-up.
  • Liaison with the company's back-office staff to communicate supplier and customer needs and contract details.
  • Assist in coordinating and/ or scheduling meetings, conferences and travel arrangements.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
    • Needs to be outgoing and able to communicate in person, via telephone, email or messaging apps
    • Good written communication skills and the ability to summarize information in a consumable and executive friendly format
    • Fluent in English, fluent in other Asian languages a plus.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Must take ownership of responsibilities and tasks. Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive and inquisitive.
  • Must be able to work independently and be able to collaborate with teams across all levels of the organization.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of imports/ exports, INCO terms, trading terms helpful.
  • 5+ years of related experience as an administrative support. 

Computer Skills:
  • Microsoft- Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • AS400 – company to provide training.
  • Teams, WhatsApp and other messaging apps
  • Ability to navigate multiple screens when needed
  • Ability to maintain organized and accurate online files and contracts.

Work location:  Remote

Travel:  Some travel for training, conferences or other business needs, including to our corporate office in Buffalo, NY.

Work hours:  Hybrid schedule- split time between US/ East Coast time zone and Asian business hours to be discussed upon offer.  After-hours work as needed
