Join as a Data Analyst/Data Engineer! We're looking for a data-driven professional with exceptional Power BI skills and strong database knowledge to join our team. You'll use your database knowledge, analytical expertise, and Power BI mastery to transform marine industry data into actionable insights and compelling visualizations. Key Responsibilities

• Power BI Mastery: Design and build dynamic dashboards and reports in Power BI, clearly communicating key trends and insights to stakeholders.
• Data Analysis: Dive into marine industry data to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Data Preparation: Clean, structure, and prepare data from various sources for analysis (basic development skills a plus).
• Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and experience with both relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes: Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.

• Data Modeling: Knowledge of data modeling techniques and proficiency in designing efficient and scalable data schemas.
• Excel Skills: Building data trackers, reports, and analyses in Excel.

• Product Solutions: Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction. Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly internal and client reports.
• Marine Industry Knowledge: Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and terminology within the marine sector.

Requirements

• Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of proven experience in Power BI development.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of the marine industry.
• Excellent time management.
• High level of meticulousness and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Abide by strict confidentiality and nondisclosure requirements of the company and company’s clients.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively convey complex information to different audiences.
• Market Research: Strong research skills to identify new market opportunities, understand competitors, and gather customer insights.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and market trends, make recommendations, and implement strategies to increase revenue.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

• Preferred:
• Full-stack development skills (e.g., experience with front-end technologies, databases, web frameworks).
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python and SQL.
