Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Paid Social Sr. Specialist to execute end-to-end campaign management of Paid Social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest. In this role, you will be responsible for managing budget pacing, campaign and audience trafficking, and performing creative and performance analysis and optimization to ensure budget goals and key business objectives are achieved. Reporting to the Paid Social Manager, this is a high impact role with opportunity to think creatively and tell important data-driven stories that will drive performance forward across multiple lines of business. This role is part of the Paid Media Strategy team but will also collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders such as cross-functional teams and vendor partners such as Smartly, Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest. 

 

The ideal candidate will be a skilled, data-driven performance marketer with extensive knowledge of Paid Social campaign optimization and a keen attention to detail. This position provides an excellent opportunity to create highly impactful campaigns for a major player in the Travel + Leisure industry. In this role, you will also contribute to the ongoing development of our Paid Media team by refining our go-to-market process, driving impact through continuous test and learn, and managing expectations with cross-functional stakeholders regarding upcoming launch updates and optimizations.

  • Expected Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $82,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute end-to-end management of paid social campaigns including campaign setup, budget pacing, bidding, billing and actuals, audience and creative performance analysis, and optimization to ensure spend goals and benchmark KPIs are achieved.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of platform and industry trends, reporting and analytics, attribution modeling, best practices, and audience targeting capabilities across paid social platforms.
  • Deliver weekly and ad hoc reporting across all lines of business, including current insights and recommendations to improve performance.
  • Seek out new paid social product offerings across platforms and stay up to date on latest trends in social advertising platforms inclusive of cookieless-future driven marketing and Conversions API (CAPI) updates.
  • Proactively recommend changes to existing campaign setup and go-to-market processes that improve overall performance and ways of working.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, and multiple internal partners across Vail Resorts including Paid Media, Creative Services, Channel Analytics, Communications, Marketing Operations, and other Marketing functions and divisions to achieve business goals.
  • Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected changes to strategy and/or campaign setup in response to business dynamics.
  • Consistently strive to grow and develop yourself as a leader, seeking feedback early and often.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • BA or equivalent with emphasis on coursework in marketing, advertising, or business.
  • 3-4+ years of in-platform Paid Social experience, including campaign setup and execution, strategy development, project management, analytics, and reporting and optimization.
  • Strong interest and curiosity in paid social media platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.
  • Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
  • A self-motivated drive to learn & strong openness to feedback.
  • Organizational prowess to track a high volume of deliverables and priorities.
  • Proficiency with data reporting and analysis, in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong verbal, written communication and presenting skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and demonstrated critical thinking ability.

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $75,000 - $82,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
