This client provides a SaaS-based, next-generation Vendor & Contract Lifecycle Management (VCLM) and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) solution. They help customers regain visibility of their vendor contracts, control vendor and contract processes, and ensure third-party compliance.

The company has consistently achieved significant, profitable year-on-year growth with long-term customers, including major corporations across various industries.

Due to strong global growth and recent private equity investment, they are seeking an ambitious DevOps Engineer to help build top-tier infrastructure with performance and security monitoring, supporting their industry-leading contract and vendor management platform.

Note: This is a fully remote position and can be based anywhere in Poland

In this role you will:

  • Work in a cross-functional agile team to lead system design and deployment activities
  • Provide solutions across a number of domains including monitoring, performance and CI/CD tooling
  • Bring in the new and latest technologies and techniques while driving their adoption where appropriate
  • Participate in engineering chapter discussions to inform infrastructure requirements to solve complex business cases
  • Develop and maintain all supporting infrastructure and operational documentation
  • Be aware of and manage possible security issues including ownership of penetration testing
  • Drive cost reduction activities through service optimisations
  • Improve monitoring and application performance

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years in a similar DevOps or Cloud Engineer role.
  • A strong understanding of security best practices, with proven experience in implementing and managing security measures within a cloud environment, focusing on proactive threat detection and mitigation?
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and application monitoring tools to ensure robust protection of our infrastructure.
  • Deep experience administering Linux systems including modern best practices in server security
  • Experience in building continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
  • Experience with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible/Chef/etc.)
  • Docker
  • VPN server management
  • Experience with security systems is a plus: IDS/IPS
  • Experience with core AWS platform architecture specific with SaaS solutions
    • Strong knowledge and track record of building and maintaining production systems on AWS using EC2, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, Elastic Beanstalk, Codedeploy
    • Strong knowledge and track record of managing application monitoring: AWS monitoring/alerts, Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana
    • In-build tools to manage performance (auto-scaling etc)
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer desirable
  • Experience with: ElasticSearch, Postgresql, Redis, Mandrill, Google Cloud
  • Experience with supporting Ruby/Rails stack: rvm, Nginx&Puma, Sidekiq, Git, Capistrano. Ruby/Rails coding experience is advantageous
  • Excellent English and communication skills
  • Great sense of humour and a positive and collaborative attitude
