As an Architectural Designer, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the built environment. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients, creating design concepts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Here’s what you’ll do:

1. Design Development:

   • Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
   • Create design concepts, sketches, and architectural renderings.
   • Utilize design software (such as AutoCAD and Revit) to develop detailed design plans.

2. Coordination:

   • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other architects to maintain design integrity and safety.
   • Present design proposals to clients for approval.

3. Compliance and Documentation:

   • Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and architectural trends.
   • Prepare cost estimates and construction timelines.

4. Technical Skills:

   • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
   • Familiarity with wood structures, NYS code, and construction documentation.

5. Qualifications:

   • Proven work experience as a Design Architect.
   • Strong visual and design skills.
   • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
   • Architectural licensure (preferred).
