This is a remote position.

Role Name: Marketing Assistant 

Schedule:

  • Part-time, Flexible hours, but with overlap with Monday-Friday PST business hours for communication. Initially/training: Monday to Friday 10 AM to 2 PM PST and after the training it will be on a flexible schedule during client's business hours for communication (20 hours per week).

Join our dynamic team as a dedicated virtual assistant, playing a pivotal role in managing our website and social media channels. You’ll ensure our delicious recipes and enticing content reach food lovers across the globe, contributing to the success of our rapidly expanding online brand.

Responsibilities
  • Seamlessly upload blog posts and recipes to our WordPress platform
  • Meticulously format content with proper headings, tags, and categories for optimal user experience
  • Accurately enter recipe data into structured data plugins for enhanced search visibility
  • Strategically schedule social media posts to engage our vibrant online community
  • Actively participate in relevant Facebook groups and online communities, fostering connections with fellow food enthusiasts
  • Proactively monitor platforms like HARO for media opportunities, amplifying our brand’s reach



Requirements
  • Exceptional written English communication skills to craft compelling content
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress (very basic level is fine - does not need to be a developer etc - just very basic understanding)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools, ensuring a seamless online presence
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks efficiently
