Job Description

Immerse yourself in the dynamic world of hospitality as a Virtual Admin Assistant/Receptionist for this pioneering Bahamian hostel. You’ll be the digital face of this unique property, managing guest interactions across multiple platforms and ensuring smooth operations from afar. This role offers a perfect blend of customer service, property management, and tech-savvy skills, all while working remotely. You’ll have the chance to contribute significantly to the growth of this one-of-a-kind business, honing your expertise in international hospitality and automated management systems.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global guests, promptly responding to inquiries via email and occasional phone calls
  • Expertly manage bookings across multiple platforms including Booking.com and Airbnb
  • Ensure seamless communication between guests and on-site property management
  • Generate and analyze monthly booking reports to drive business growth
  • Monitor and optimize automated booking and communication systems
  • Maintain meticulous organization of guest information and booking details
  • Adapt to and learn new property management technologies and processes
Requirements
  • Proven track record in customer service, preferably within hospitality or property management
  • Proficiency with vacation rental platforms such as Booking.com and Airbnb
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and independent working abilities
  • Adept at using Google Drive and other cloud-based productivity tools
  • Basic bookkeeping and report generation skills
  • Ability to work part-time (20 hours/week) following Eastern Standard Time
  • Comfortable with remote work environment and digital collaboration tools
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new automated property management systems
  • Passion for travel and hospitality industry a plus
