In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Coach, mentor, and train team members in self-management, cross-skilling, process improvement, transparency, data informed situational awareness and decision making, and living the Scrum Values of commitment, focus, openness, respect and courage
  • Guide teams through a maturity journey starting with the foundations outlined in the Scrum Guide, understand and experience why and how the framework works and ultimately how and when to change their own processes within the framework to suit their needs while still achieving the principles of the Agile Manifesto. Foster an environment in which best engineering practices, coding standards and compliance, automation, pair programming, etc. become second nature. .
  • Partner with the Product Owner to be mindful of short- and long-term goals and applying approaches to help focus on solving the right problems at the right time then building solutions with iterative, experimental, customer-centric and data-driven activities
  • Help formal leaders and stakeholders understand and enact empirical approaches for complex work
  • Partner with other Scrum Masters to elevate, and participate in solving larger organizational issues and patterns impacting collective organizational performance
  • Facilitate the team’s progress towards team’s goals: Continuously challenging the old norms of development practice and team behavior to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow. Help the team define and stay focused on daily, iteration, and larger organizational goals
  • Build highly effective teams: Focusing on ever-improving team dynamics and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline with minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • Working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and scaling methods such as LeSS, Scrum@Scale, Nexus, SAFe, DA, etc.
  • Basic Scrum Master certification required (CSM and/or PSM)
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft SharePoint, Office (Word, Excel), MS Project, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Ability to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation

Desired:

  • Advanced Scrum Master Certifications preferred (CSP-SM etc.)
  • ICAgile ICP-ATF and ICP-ACC certifications preferred
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred
  • Working knowledge of application programming, database, system design, as well as web-based and client/server architectures preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation or ADO is a plus
  • Scrum Master experience with multiple teams and organizations is preferred

Salary:

$85,000-$107,454 w/ 8% bonus eligibility

The salary ranges for each level are as follows:

Level 3: 5-9 years of experience: $85,000-$107,000 w/ 8% bonus eligibility

Level 4: 9-14 years of experience: $95,000-$123,000 w/ 8% bonus eligibility
