Oracle/Redshift DBA

100% Remote

Apolis client is looking for a senior-level database administrator who can work with both Oracle and AWS Redshift databases, perform day-to-day functions, work in an Agile environment, and handle auditing functions. Oracle production support DBA experience; specifically, RMAN, OEM, and RAC. Experience with LARGE multi-node RAC databases. PROVEN experience with Oracle 19c databases. Experience creating physical standby database in oracle 19c using RMAN. From a reporting aspect, they have Cognos and Tableau but Tableau will be their data visualization tool of choice.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Oracle and Redshift, be comfortable running scripts, suggesting performance improvements, and deploying code. We understand that finding someone with expertise in both Oracle RAC/19c and AWS Redshift can be challenging, but we are open to candidates with a strong Oracle background with some AWS Redshift experience as long as they are excited about moving to Redshift which is the future.
