The Enterprise Device Management & Experience team is a small, diverse and highly cross-functional team responsible for a wide variety of systems and solutions requested by both the Technology side as well as the corporate site to support our endpointsFrom Windows to macOS to mobile devices, we provision & secure devices, deliver essential Line-of-Business apps and monitor our platforms and endpointsWe are responsible for the overall end user experience and continuously strive to improve itFocused on being as efficient as possible, we build reusable components and automate where possible so we can focus on providing world-class customer service and supportThe Senior Systems Engineer I role is a key member of this team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Intune, Windows 365 Cloud PCs, Autopilot and connected services & platforms
  • Implementing, maintaining, and supporting components of Microsoft Azure, the M365/O365 stack, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Windows 365 Cloud PC’s, Apple Business Manager (ABM), and device & user onboarding & offboarding
  • Manage Apple Business Manager (ABM), Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and connected services & platforms. 
  • Subject matter expert for Windows, macOS and mobile devices is a must
  • Implement, maintain & secure automated deployment of endpoints of multi-vendor platforms: Apple (Mac, iPhone, iPad), Windows, Android
  • Advanced experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Windows, macOS and mobile devices (iOS, iPadOS, Android) 
  • Drive Engineering discussions in support of business requirements gathering, analysis and implementation design and support
  • Providing top-tier customer service and white-glove support to technical and non-technical users in large environments of 5k+ users
  • Effective at extracting maximum ROI from existing platforms and systems including components within Azure such as, Enterprise Registrations, Analytics, Alerts, Azure Automation etc
  • Collaborate with teams and vendors to support the existing on-site infrastructure
  • Proficient knowledge of PowerShell, Shell, AppleScript scripting & automation with a concentration on Microsoft Graph, REST API’s while adhering to scripting & security best practices
  • Meets with Security team to align on hardening and other security related configurations
  • Lead efforts in troubleshooting, remediating, and optimizing security and compliance concerns
  • Identify gaps in the onboarding/offboarding ITAM process and providing strategic recommendations
  • Package applications for silent, unattended delivery including application specific customizations. (e.g., setting registry keys, editing macOS PLIST configuration files etc.) 
  • Monitor & investigate system configuration and patching drift and remediate in a timely manne
  • Create & maintain documentation, active participation in technical calls with other teams and leading lunch & learn calls within the team

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience implementing & maintaining end user computing services with direct delivery of IT support to end users 
  • 4+ years of experience building automated imaging processes, silent & unattended application packaging & troubleshooting, configuring, and supporting at least one major Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platform (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix, Windows 365)
  • Extensive experience with at least one major endpoint systems management platform (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Microsoft SCCM/MECM, JAMF Pro.) 
  • Experience designing and supporting end user computing solutions for a mixed Mac and Windows environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication organizational, and problem-solving skills 
  • Working knowledge of client-level network configurations and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills - team player, personable, professional, upbeat, and energetic
  • Expertise in coordination and escalation to Microsoft Premier support and coordination with first- and third-party software vendors as needed to resolve business-impacting problems
  • Passionate about working in IT and alongside others who share the same passion

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be $140,000 to $170,000 annually.
