Job Description

You will be a member of a team collaborating and working together towards technology transformation goals of Experian Technology team.

What you’ll need to bring to the party

  • Programming Skills: Strong Programming skills with Extensive knowledge of object-oriented architecture and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Technology & Script: Java / J2EE, Java Basics / Core Java /Advance Java, Web Services, JSP Servlets, Java script toolkits, Web/Application Servers, OO and relational modeling skills, OOPS. Framework - Spring, Hibernate
  • DB Skills: Basic DB administration experience (db2, Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Networking: Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
  • Experience with tools:  BitBucket. GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile software development, Agile XP and project management methodologies. Usage of Kanban board and project management tool like Jira
  • Web/UI: Angular, Velocity, Apache Wicket
  • DevOps: Continuous integration and continuous deployment experience and exposure to DevOps practices
  • Experience with various architectures: Domain Driven Design, Microservices, Cloud Native and Event Driven Architecture.
  • Attitude to manage issues proactively including timely resolution and the identification of remediation opportunities
  • Fail fast approach to align to product engineering standards

  • Constant curiosity and a desire to improve yourself and your fellow engineers.
  • Exposure to Financial Services and Banking concepts.
  • Experience in Cloud architecture (AWS) would be an advantage
  • Experience in JBoss, Apache Tomcat would be an advantage
  • Experience in Angular, Node and React JS would be an advantage
  • Experience in Apache Shiro would be an advantage
  • Experience in Insurance domain and claims module would be an advantage
