Our teams of digital nomads live and work remotely from Cyprus, Malta, the USA, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Poland, Israel, Turkey, Latvia and many others.

We are looking for a Senior NodeJS Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the backend of a brand-new platform for one of our core products. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of application architecture and the ability to design technical solutions from scratch.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Create and maintain scalable and resilient microservices distributed across multiple geographic regions.
  • Design and develop comprehensive application architectures that align with business requirements and technical constraints.
  • Develop innovative technical solutions to address complex business challenges, ensuring they align with overall company strategy and goals.
  • Automate various stages of the development lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

    We expect from you:

    • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development
    • Deep understanding of Node.js architecture, such as event loops and libuv, including modern part of it, such as web streams, async hooks and diagnostic channel
    • Hands-on experience working with NoSQL databases
    • Hands-on experience with messages brokers such as RabbitMQ, SQS or similar
