Overview:

The Senior Digital Experience Strategist is responsible for supporting the user experience and persona activation on assigned web properties managed and maintained by Novant Health Marketing. The strategist’s role is to effectively gather key data that ensures strategies are well informed and laid out, intimately understand their clients well and generate plans to ensure the brand and product’s success. Writing clear and insightful briefs is an integral part of the job, involving inspiring and informing creative teams. He/she is responsible for developing strategic plans for a remarkable patient experience on digital channels with a core responsibility for Novant Health websites. The strategist will use modern CMS and personalization tools to craft experiences that are tailored to unique audiences and personas and result in an elevated brand reputation and higher conversion on defined KPIs. This position will be Remote.  Applicants must be located in the followng states:  NC, SC, GA, VA, AL, FL, NV, MI, WY, IN, LA, MS, MO, OK.  

Qualifications:
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, technology, web development, or similar field;  required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in experience design and strategy; required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Certified Scrum Product Owner, preferred. 
  • Additional skills required: 
    • Proven knowledge of website technologies such as platforms and content management systems.
    • Foundational understanding of front-end coding languages including HTML and CSS.
    • Strong instincts in UX principles and practices including design thinking, empathy mapping, information architecture, journey mapping, and personas.
    • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
    • Interpersonal leadership skills, teamwork/collaboration, and effective communication style.
    • Intimate understanding of the Brand and its components including messaging, voice, visual identity and digital design system, and an ability to effectively implement the Brand on digital channels.
    • Eagerness to contribute to a team in transition and help shape the future of our department.
    • Extremely flexible and resilient to changes in direction, priorities and projects.
    • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc), Microsoft enterprise products and other industry-standard brainstorming, wireframing, prototyping, mockup and production tools (Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, Sketch, Basalmiq, Mural, Lucid, etc).
    • Ability to travel to multiple locations/facilities if needed.
  • Additional Skills Preferred: 
    • Experience in an Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lean or similar) working environment or a willingness and ability to adapt quickly to working within an Agile, cross-functional team.
    • Impressive portfolio showcasing expertise in UX design, human-centered design thinking, usability and accessibility, user journeys and personas, omnichannel strategy, and unique solutions to complex business needs.
    • Advanced knowledge of paid search, social media, affiliate marketing and display advertising.
    • Client engagement experience with a track record of developing positive relationships with business partners.
    • Willingness and self-initiative to learn and grow in any areas of lower proficiency.
