Senior Manager, Nephrology Care Alliance

DaVita is a Fortune-200 healthcare organization that gives life to hundreds of thousands of kidney patients each day. As part of DaVita’s efforts to bring the gift of value-based care to as many patients as possible, the Nephrology Care Alliance (NCA) works directly with over 2,100 nephrologists nationally to drive innovation and better collaboration in value-based care delivery to the patients we serve.

The NCA team is a ~10-person team that collaborates widely across DaVita senior leadership team, to impact value-based care for the Village. We use a hypothesis-based approach to problem solve and enhance high-level decision-making. We offer a flexible, remote-first work model balanced with in-person team meetings several times each year.

The Senior Manager position will be responsible for delivering on these primary responsibilities: 

  • Lead Value Based Care projects of various sizes and complexity, including project plan development and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business development strategy, operations development, clinical leadership, and business leadership to support NCA goals.
  • Develop strategic solutions to NCA business goals, including new product innovation concepts and strategies to support network growth objectives.
  • Deliver complex analytics strategy, including statistical analysis of product performance, and provides consistent quality assurance for data integrity.
  • Lead project management office across business unit, to ensure success delivery of village commitments in product innovation are delivered effectively and timely.
  • Develop, coordinate and implement business and clinical initiatives as well as establishing a culture of operational service excellence. Grow relationships with team members across NCA and DaVita and provide thought leadership.
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing to various audiences, including leadership.
  • Lead programmatic strategy for NCA including synthesizing internal & external data sources, develop operational and physician collaboration structure to support. 
  • Develop and implement NCA concepts, including efficient coordination across operations, business development, NCA Advisory Board, and other teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience in an analytical problem-solving role in consulting, finance, business management, quantitative analysis or economics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Prior experience in healthcare services and/or working with payers, value-based care models, and/or integrated healthcare models preferred

This individual will work with a team of highly motivated individuals and is expected to effectively manage individual work streams and engage with senior executives. The successful candidate will possess the following: analytical horsepower, clear and efficient communication, strong business acumen, the ability to work with a cross-functional team, and solid organization and project management.

Salary/ Wage Range

$91,000.00 - $133,700.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
