    Job Description

    Experian’s B2B Go To Market function are looking for an experienced and proven Data or Analytics professional to help grow our consumer data and analytics platform proposition.

    This exciting role has responsibility for supporting new business sales, as well as gathering market intelligence and working closely with Product Owners to enhance existing propositions and shape future requirements based on client feedback.

    Working within our collaborative and passionate Data and Analytics Sales Engineer team, you’ll be directly helping our clients maximise business opportunities from Experian’s data and analytics capabilities through the use of your excellent questioning skills and knowledge of the regulation. This deep level knowledge and ability to fully understand the clients needs will help progress the sale coupled with your ability to build and deliver presentations, product demo’s and proposals.  You will also become a key component in the transition from sale to delivery ensuring we deliver on those clients needs, managing internal hand-overs and client workshops. 

     As a subject matter expert you will be called upon to attend and often speak at external events and client meetings.

    We are looking for a professional with a history of success in Credit Risk Analytics and Data solutions for Banking and Financial Services institutions. Experience of being able to engage with clients on a range of credit risk topics such as Credit Scoring, Credit Policy Design, Risk Modelling, Optimisation, Credit Risk Systems and Reporting & MI.  Experience of working with clients helping to ensure best use and understanding of our data and how it can be embedded into their processes.

You will collaborate with other teams across Experian to ensure our Data and Analytics client propositions are as complete and value-generating as possible for each individual engagement.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in role you will bring a proven track record in relevant client facing roles, as well as strong industry links and significant Credit Risk or Analytics subject matter expertise. You should also be able to evidence leading activity as well as working collaboratively in a sales environment, to maximise results through others, whilst navigating complex sales, managing both internal and external senior stakeholders and delight in delivering superior customer engagements and outcomes.


    This role is a pivotal contributor in the success of the UK&I sales strategy, working with both vertical and sales specialist teams, as well as Product Management teams to contribute to the broader business strategy.  The ability to help navigate and translate the complex data environment that makes up Credit Risk Data and Analytics solutions in a way that compliments the clients risk appetite and internal technical infrastructures.  You will also play a critical role in being able to help identify and describe how to nit together the data we provide into our clients in a way that satisfies their regulatory need.

    In summary, a combination of the below would make this a truly exciting opportunity to explore further:

    • Experience & understanding of financial products strongly preferred.
    • Subject Matter Expert in Consumer Credit Risk Analytics and Data.
    • Experience within business strategy roles or Consulting
    • Experience of Commercial, Credit Risk, Analytics, Credit Data, Product or Business Development.
    • Recognised as a trusted adviser, with a track record of supporting successful sales of analytics and data solutions that support clients visions and goals.
    • Understanding of products and systems needed to deliver effective service within Credit Risk and Analytics.
    • Able to flex influencing styles in order to build strong sustainable relationships, and demonstrate Experian's values
    • A confident written and verbal communicator, able to clearly explain complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
    • A track record and from delivering similar services to a range of clients within the Banks and Financial Service industries.
