The Role

The Pilot Account Manager role is a unique, exciting blend of sales and account management. Your goal is to partner with a Strategic Account Executive to convert clients in our pilot program into long-term subscription partners. To promote increased conversions, you’ll guide clients through our customized pilot experience. This includes leading conversations detailing marketing strategy, interactive design education, product adoption, analytics, and more. 

We’re seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, ambitious and passionate individual with an understanding of digital marketing and a proven track record of successfully managing mid-market and/or enterprise clients. Our pilots are designed to be a crash course in our product, so having a proactive, self-starter & goal-oriented mindset is also a must.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maximize the Pilot to Subscription conversion rate.
  • Build, maintain and foster strong client and internal relationships.
  • Operate as a Ceros expert and lead point of contact during our pilot program.  Master the Ceros suite of products and use this knowledge to illustrate to clients how Ceros solves their business pains and makes a positive impact on their goals.
  • Equip yourself with relevant customer stories, Ceros successes and industry-specific knowledge.  Use this information to educate and build trust with prospects.
  • Educate customers & promote the wider Ceros ecosystem including Educate, Support, etc. 
  • Manage multiple deals at the same time and be able to navigate complex client organizations with the highest level of professionalism and skill.
  • On-board and train new clients on the Ceros platform according to their needs and objectives.  Be able to pivot and customize conversations so that clients find value and experience white glove service.
  • Proactively identify accounts at risk and strategize how to mitigate churn.
  • Maintain the highest levels of integrity, authenticity and honesty (and when appropriate - humour!)

Practical stuff we anticipate you having

  • 3+ years of customer success/account management experience, preferably in a SaaS business environment
  • Strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Analytical, project-oriented, and process-oriented mindset
  • Must have a sense of design and a fundamental understanding of digital marketing
  • Understanding of the marketing landscape (marketer’s planning cycles, pain points, roadmap)
  • Demonstrated ability to grow relationships and drive platform adoption within the customer’s organization
