Summary of Job Duties:
The LPN will perform general nursing functions, such as rooming patients, administering medications, collecting vital signs, assisting physicians with procedures, phlebotomy. Schedule appointments, returns calls to patients, assists with medication refills and provides patient education. May also perform various health screenings, prior authorizations for medications, imaging and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited LPN or LVN school PLUS licensed as an LPN in the State of Arkansas. 

  • Microsoft Office Suite experience and have knowledge of electronic medical records.

  • Excellent customer service skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience working in a busy clinic

  • Phlebotomy skills

  • BLS


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Assists physicians and registered nurses with providing basic, direct patient assessment.

  • Performs intake exams and heath screenings, monitors vital signs, collect various swabs and specimens, and administers diagnostic tests

  • Develops, communicates, and implements patient treatment plans by evaluating patient well being, reporting any needs to medical staff and explaining treatments and procedures.

  • Provides high standard of care and customer service to patients and families.

  • Ensures comfort and well-being of patients by performing care activities, such as feeding patients, changing dressings and bandages of wounds, and transporting patients from wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys

  • Performs other duties as requested
