Your missions

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head of People Operations for our Europe Continental region. The successful candidate will oversee HR operations and payroll processes for 20 countries, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role involves developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures, managing Workday, and collaborating with various departments to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

On a day-to-day basis the key responsibilities in the role will revolve around:

As the HR operations and payroll leader, you will oversee and ensure compliance with laws and regulations across 20 countries, develop and implement HR policies and procedures, manage payroll and benefits administration, and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including tax filings. You will manage the Workday system, maintain employee and organizational data, document company regulations and processes, and implement plans to enhance HR operations and payroll processes. Serving as the primary HR contact for the business, you will provide reports, analysis, and guidance, deliver efficient HR support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will establish an operating model for HR support and build HR service capability within the organization.

  • Manage Workday, maintaining employee, organizational, and position data.

  • Develop and maintain documentation of company regulations, processes, and best practices.

  • Act as the HR point of contact, providing accurate information, reports, analysis, and mentorship.

  • Implement plans for continuous improvement and establish a defined operating model for HR support.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field.

  • At least 10 years of experience in HR operations and payroll administration within a multinational corporation.

  • Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and processes.

  • Proven experience in team management.

  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in Workday, general HRIS system maintenance, and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience in collaborating with external vendors and lawyers (labor laws and tax regulations).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
