The Opportunity:

Job Summary

  • Responsible for leading and managing the leadership programs team in the development and delivery of leading edge, transformative, role-based leadership programs and interventions that support our mission and vision, meet client needs, and that challenge and stretch our participants to achieve their fullest potential.
  • In this newly established role, the Director of Leadership Programs will ensure delivery of impactful, high quality programs – new and existing.
  • Reports to Senior Director of Learning and Leadership Development.
  • Director of Leadership Programs is responsible for managing our growing program portfolio, leading growth and execution of new programs and services, providing consulting services, and overseeing quality and curriculum design for existing programs and services.
  • Able to seamlessly interact with multiple leaders of varying leadership levels across the organization.
  • Work closely with the design and facilitation teams.
  • Design experiential, hands-on learning in small-group environments to allow for content presentation in large group settings and virtually, and effectively use Ensemble's Leadership Framework, Revenue Cycle Philosophy, and approach combined with current research and best practices in culturally focused programming and leadership development.

Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee execution of all Leadership programs, including review and redesign of leadership programs and services, standards of program delivery and coordination, training content and design; and ongoing development of culturally effective training materials in collaboration with the Program Manager, facilitators, and other programs partners
  • Design programs for all levels of Leaders, including college graduates, operations pleaders, and senior executives
  • Work with the Program Manager in the project management and scheduling of leadership programs including venue selection and budget monitoring
  • Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence and effective delivery of development programs through focus on research and innovative training and development processes and curriculum
  • Develop and implement new programs
  • Serve as thought leader on leadership development and programs, staying current on literature, practices and networks in relevant fields including training and professional development, leadership development, coaching, and diversity
  • Develop, coach, and retain high-performance team members
  • Work with staff to develop necessary development programs, processes and tools to ensure consistent, high-quality project management to better support the facilitation, collection, and sharing of knowledge that is generated by the programs
  • Ensure that key project outcomes are evaluated and leveraged for maximum organizational and participant impact
  • Actively participate in Leadership team meetings and other strategic and administrative projects
  • Contribute to effective communications and project management, including developing or contributing to client and partnership proposals, program reports, and conference presentations
  • Contribute to the development of inter-team cohesiveness and management of culture change
  • Manage Program Manager and team with other staff as necessary and/or required
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
