Job Description

The primary purpose and responsibility of the Delivery Manager is to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality IT services and products to internal business customers based on their business needs through the management of the entrusted IT team.

It requires focusing on managing the team, improving delivery speed, reducing costs, and enhancing the overall response to internal business client demands

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery team, providing guidance, and support, and fostering a collaborative work environment to ensure accurate and quality delivery of IT services (features, requests, and so on)
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
  • Continuously improve the delivery process by identifying bottlenecks, implementing changes, and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Track and analyze key flow metrics to gain insights into the delivery process and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact service delivery, develop contingency plans, and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Promote the use of feedback loops and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, communicate delivery status, and act as an escalation point for complex or high-priority incidents/requests, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

Qualifications (Essential):

  • In-depth knowledge of service and product delivery processes and methodologies, particularly in the context of Kanban and Agile.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • The data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret flow metrics to drive process improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on risk mitigation and issue resolution.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications (Desired):

  • Certification in ITIL or COBIT would be beneficial.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 will be a plus.
  • Experience with Jira and Jira Service Management will be a plus.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of commercial work experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master
  • Extensive experience in service and product delivery management, preferably in an IT department or organization.
  • Language Skills: English B2, Russian C1-C2
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
