Overview:
Intelligent Waves is growing rapidly and has an outstanding new opportunity for a Communications Specialist to work on an important technical program for a major DoD organization headquartered in Reston, VA. This contract was awarded recently and is expanding rapidly over the next few months.

Location: This position is based in Reston, VA
Travel: None
Remote Schedule: Will work as part of an overall team to provide needed coverage and support with remote work capability according to mission schedules.
Security Clearance: Must be a United States Citizen and hold a current TS/SCI security clearance.
Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols.
Responsibilities:As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will build and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to create new and maintain existing client mission partnerships, coordinate internal best practices for communications, and foster a community of information sharing and transparency.
As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you’ll create newsletters, website content, briefs, talking points, executive summaries, and marketing materials. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound with tools like MS PowerPoint, Strapi, and Jira.
Work with us as we design, develop, and produce impactful communications tools and products to change the United States defense and national security mission area for the better.
