Job Summary:
The Clinical Services Advisor (CSA) will be responsible for completing a clinical document assessment and conduct phone interviewing as indicated for agency Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to make professional recommendations to ensure the best placement with the client. The CSA will also assist with the development of clinical based scenario questions and tools to assess HCP’s fully against US standards and identify any concerns or deficiencies in their skills and experience.
Job Description:
Clinically screen and assess agency nurses, therapist, and other disciplines for the HWL MSP Program. Screenings will be completed by phone or video.
Conduct assessments to evaluate the HCP’s professional nursing experience, skills and experience based on their resume and the HCP’s specialty to ensure the candidates meet client requirements.
Administer clinical interviews of HCPs, in preparation for submission to clients, with the goal of ensuring the best possible match that will provide a successful assignment outcome.
Review client specific information to expedite hiring process.
Communicate missing documents to HCP if interview is successful to expedite hiring process.
Make candidate offer as per client &/or HWL Account Management request.
Assist in the development and revisions of clinically based scenario questions and tools, as needed, to comprehensively assess HCPs qualifications.
Complete documentation in HWL platform inclusive of template-driven phone interview profile and screening notes specific to each client. Forward interview results to clients as directed by Clinical Services Manager
Act as a point of contact within the Client Services team for clinical advice/guidance regarding questions and concerns about placement and the match process.
Coordinate with other internal HWL departments and agencies to resolve client and/or HCP matters as needed.
Maintain documentation and communicate any discrepancies found during clinical assessments.
Attend clinical unit assessment calls as requested with clients.
Maintain open communication with the Clinical Services Manager and Account Management Team for candidate placement.
Assist in the development of workflows and processes to meet departmental and company KPI’s.

Attends meetings as required (both virtually and/or in-person as required). Examples include mandatory internal meetings as needed and required, as often as monthly or quarterly, in-person meetings with clients, conferences, events, seminars, etc.
Qualifications:
Nursing or Clinical degree required.
Strong understanding of healthcare staffing industry and hospital administration.
Minimum requirements are 4 days per month with one day being Friday, if Fridays are short staffed. Each shift will have a minimum of 3 hours.
5+ years in equivalent experience as a hospital unit director or manager with specific responsibility hiring travel nurses, or 5+ years working in acute care hospital setting with 2+ years in a staffing support role for acute care facilities.
Strong interviewing skills – detail oriented.
Excellent people skills, with the ability to start, cultivate, and maintain lasting relationships with customers, direct reports, and senior management.
Ability to work collaboratively with software development and technology teams to execute growth and solve problems.
We are seeking applicants that can work remotely and live in AL, AR, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, VA, TX, VT, WI, WV that will allow them to travel easily to client sites and company meetings. Must be able to work 8:30am-5:30pm EST.
